About Us | Our Story

Welcome to The Mary Mac store!  We are glad you visited us today.

Our intent is to bring you beautiful products to help soothe your grieving soul or to give to family or friends after the death of a loved one.

A percentage of all profits help support The Foundation for Grieving Children, Inc., the first national non-profit public charity of its kind which I established back in 2003 for the benefit of grieving children, teens, young adults and their families after a loved one's death..

As the host of The Mary Mac Show, I share my over 35 years' experience as a Grief and Bereavement Specialist, Award-Winning Author, Executive Grief Coach, Speaker and Crime Victim Advocate.

I share my weekly episodes with you to help you better understand the grieving process so you will know that what you're going through is natural and normal and to help educate and comfort you as you move along this difficult journey.

I created this ecommerce site specifically because I wanted a way to help raise funds for the benefit of grieving children and teens.

So many of the wonderful organizations which serve little ones have been hard hit during this pandemic and many have had to reestablish themselves from in person groups and services to online/virtual support.

I have always donated a portion of my book sales and speaking fees to the Foundation, but now we need your help too.

And I thought if I could build a site which provided lovely things for yourself and others to remember the loved ones who are no longer with us, it would be a win-win for everyone.

In 2011, I created our signature "I Remember" bracelet, a purple rubber little thing with the words "I Remember" on one side and our website on the other.  People loved them and would order several for themselves and their family and friends.

Back then we ordered bunches of them from overseas but that is not possible now.

So now I decided to make tees, mugs and other products with that tagline, and for the same reason we made the bracelets, when someone sees your tee-shirt or other product, they will ask "What are you remembering?"

To which you can respond, "I'm remembering my Mom," "I'm remembering my Dad, Sister, Brother, Son, Daughter, Wife, Husband, Best Friend, etc."

And it gives you the ability to start a conversation and speak your loved one's name aloud which keeps them alive!

You get to tell your story and celebrate their life.

So you will see the Foundation's signature and trademarked purple heart logo on all kinds of products with the tagline "I Remember" so every time you wear the clothing or use the products, it will make you smile.

We also didn't want our patriots and warriors to be neglected.

There are so many members of the military, law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, First Responders and others who we wanted to honor after they gave the ultimate sacrifice.

When you wear the American Flag Heart or Flowing American Flag with the words "I Remember", you will be remembering one of our fallen heroes or veterans or just an American patriot who loves their country.  And that makes our hearts feel so full of love.

For these warriors who died, they and their families have sacrificed so much for the benefit of our countrymen, that we will remain free and safe. They deserve all our praise.

So we hope you will like our products and share them with others online and through email.

The more you share, the more funds for the foundation.  And that would mean so much to me.

As time moves on, we will design new themes, new products and new tag lines.  And if you think of new designs we might develop, we'd love to hear from you.

Meanwhile, please do listen in, subscribe/follow, rate and review my podcast The Mary Mac Show.  And don't forget to share with others who may benefit from this knowledge.

With Gratitude and Blessings,

Mary Mac
